Thank you Jan and Gene for all the wonderful knowledge and insights.
I too am doing my best at investigating the world and claiming my humanity by learning on my own and exploring “adventures in mentality” as Gene put so beautifully.
I am anxious to read the written material and articles that Gene graciously offered to share with us.
Hey there, I am hoping I the off chance you still look here that maybe I could request a small bit of guidance.
I am interested in deep study of the trivium and the liberal arts. I have noticed that there are multiple books by the title of the trivium.
I don’t want to be led astray so I am wondering which book to start with to start learning the trivium. In your view what is a reliable resource, who is a reliable author?
Thank you deeply for taking a moment of your time for me.
Warmest regards,
Rob Samadhi
The main way of not being lead astray is to just be aware that it’s always grammar, logic, rhetoric – always in that order. You can read other material and still gain knowledge even if they’re misrepresenting it if you just realize how to keep things in order.
Great information here, thank you both. Just one correction though, the icosahedron is 20 triangles where as the dodecahedron is the Platonic solid with 12 pentagons.
Correction: For those interested in Carl Sagan’s book. It’s The Demon-Haunted World not “The Demon-“invested” World”… Thank you Jan for all of your contributions.
Not the Demon “infested “ world I mean ?
Thank you for helping to bring this deep understanding of reality to us who have been denied access until now.
